Balthazar café

The transformation project for Balthazar Café’s awnings in Rouyn-Noranda aimed to breathe new life into existing structures while asserting the café’s unique identity. Previously installed by Boulangerie Saint-Honoré, the awnings needed an update to match the café’s new image. Working closely with the Balthazar team, we designed a concept that blends elegance, simplicity, and modernity. 

The first step was replacing the old fabrics with custom-made, premium-grade marine canvas designed to withstand harsh weather conditions while maintaining a refined appearance. Each canvas was personalized with the Balthazar Café logo, ensuring perfect coherence with the establishment’s interior and exterior ambiance. 

Réflecteur managed the entire project, from graphic design to fabrication and installation. Every step was executed with precision, respecting the client’s requirements and the café’s architectural character. The installation was especially meticulous to ensure each awning was securely fastened and perfectly aligned, contributing to a polished, lasting finish. 

This project highlights the importance of attention to detail, even in elements that might seem secondary. By elevating something as functional as awnings, we enhanced the visual experience for Balthazar Café’s customers. Today, the new awnings act as a natural extension of the café’s identity, inviting passersby to discover the warm ambiance inside.
