At the entrance of the Agora des Arts, a donor wall <\/span>immediately<\/span> draws the eye and expresses gratitude to those who contributed to the transformation of the venue. This symbolic installation pays tribute to the benefactors who supported the modernization and expansion of the institution. Through its refined design and meticulous execution, the wall embodies the appreciation of an entire cultural community. Designed by Chevalier Morales Architectes and brought to life by <\/span>R<\/span>e<\/span>flecteur<\/span>, this project combines aesthetics, legibility, and architectural integration, creating a welcoming feature that is informative, meaningful, and warm.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n<\/header>\n

Donor Wall <\/h2>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

Positioned strategically and symbolically at the heart of the Agora des Arts entrance, the 67-inch by 67-inch donor wall serves as more than a signage element, it is a tangible and aesthetic gesture of gratitude to the individuals and organizations who supported the venue\u2019s transformation. This project was envisioned to visibly and elegantly embed the generosity of its contributors into the space, dedicating a feature that matches the significance of their support.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Designed by the firm Chevalier Morales Architectes, the wall follows a graphic language that is both simple and meaningful. It consists of 72 circular plaques made from acrylic and PVC, each bearing a donor\u2019s name. The inscriptions, created using black-and-white matte adhesive vinyl, offer a clean finish while maintaining visual subtlety. The choice of materials ensures both durability and precision.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

One of the most notable features of the project lies in the varying diameters of the plaques, a subtle yet effective visual hierarchy that reflects the level of each contribution: the larger the plaque, the greater the donation. This visual language acknowledges all donors equitably while preserving unity in the overall design. The result is a harmonious and distinctive composition that stands out while blending naturally into the reception area.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Reflecteur was tasked with the fabrication and installation of the project, ensuring faithful execution of the original design intent. The team carefully respected the proportions, finishes, and alignment of each plaque to deliver a cohesive piece that integrates seamlessly with the existing architecture. The final installation harmonizes with the space\u2019s materials and lighting, establishing the commemorative wall as a lasting gesture of appreciation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

This project highlights the importance of the relationship between architecture, design, and collective memory. The Agora des Arts donor wall not only reflects the venue\u2019s recent history, but also the commitment of its community.
